For a small project this winter I replaced all the buttons on an old felt coat. It was missing many buttons and has some replacements already.
The Before pic.
The After. The two rows down the body are grey and the sleeve buttons are blue.
Smauggy was helping.

Hello Again self,
The flowers for the wedding were made with much help from friends and family.
Cut from paper and folded with a simple wire stem.
This was the mantle we also decorated. Inside a cross country ski chalet at the edge of town.
On to the flowers.
There were blue bouquets with blue lights in the jars and fiery bouquets with autumn maple leaves in the jars.
The tall blue and copper flowers were my bridal bouquet made by my love out of synthetic flowers bought from a thrift store painted blue and copper. <3

Greetings from the past.
Since I am a terrible blogger there has been another multi-year hiatus.
In that time life has changed, a little, whoda thunkit?
One of those changes that included many craft projects was a wedding! My wedding in fact.
Back in October of 2012 we got hitched Steampunk Style.
There were many projects and crafts and helpers involved but with time photos become harder to find and I didn't exactly keep up when it was fresh. You may see more from that period if I can manage it.
This here is a few photos showing
1. Retro/Vintage Artificial Flowers assembled by me and Emily.
2. Corsages and a Top Hat featuring these flowers and dollar store birds.
